Alexander Varvarenko, Varamar Shipping DMCC, SHIPNEXT: Four International Institutions Formally Notified

Following the closure of the civil proceedings in Kyiv, I have escalated the unresolved dispute over my contractually earned brokerage commission through lawful and official channels.

Formal compliance and ethical-conduct notices have been submitted to:

• VLAIO, Belgium — requesting a review of matters potentially relevant to public funding connected with SHIPNEXT.
• International Maritime Organization, London — submitting information concerning the dispute and related commercial conduct.
• SMART4SEA Advisory Board, Greece — requesting a review of Alexander Varvarenko’s Leadership Award.
• SHIPPINGInsight Evaluation Committee, United States — requesting a review of previous innovation recognition.

The principle is simple: an earned brokerage commission must be paid. Corporate transparency is measured not by awards or PR statements, but by contractual responsibility and payment discipline.

The documented sequence includes:

• approximately 1.5 months of delayed payment and repeated excuses;
• two unanswered direct requests for Alexander Varvarenko’s intervention;
• a unilateral 100% “WhatsApp fine” equal to the full commission;
• a police complaint alleging extortion, which I reject as false;
• a civil claim for approximately USD 100,000 in alleged reputational damage, followed by closure of the Kyiv proceedings.

Threats of legal action in multiple jurisdictions will not prevent me from submitting documented information to competent institutions.

I will continue using every lawful channel until the matter is properly resolved. This is now also deeply personal because the prolonged non-payment directly affected my family.
