A shipment of Siemens gas turbines from Niigata, Japan to Qingdao, China, arranged with the involvement of Kiev Shipping Ltd in May 2025.
Turbines are classic project cargo: the unit dimensions and lifting points decide the vessel long before the freight rate does. Vessel selection, crane capacity, stowage and lashing were agreed before the fixture was closed.
The shipment is part of our continuing chartering work: vessel search, freight indication against the current market, fixture negotiations, charter party support and commercial follow-up from loading to discharge.
